The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Korea, Mr Yu Myung-hwan, called on Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong at the Istana this morning.  Senior Minister Goh and Minister Yu exchanged views on a wide range of issues, including the economic challenges faced by the ROK, relations between North and South Korea, the current denuclearisation efforts on the Korean Peninsula and developments in Northeast Asia.  Minister Yu is in Singapore at the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo.  While in Singapore, he will also attend meetings held in conjunction with the ASEAN Ministerial Meeting in Singapore, including the 15th ASEAN Regional Forum.
