Minister for the Environment and Water Resources Dr Yaacob Ibrahim will visit the Republic of Cuba from 20 July to 22 July 2008.

In Havana, Minister Yaacob will meet with the Cuban Minister of Public Health Jose Ramon Balaguer.  He will also visit the Pedro Kouri Institute of Tropical Medicine (IPK), the Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB), and the National Institute of Hydraulic Resources (INRH).

Minister Yaacob will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources and the National Environment Agency.
