Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong met a high-level delegation from seven African countries at the Istana this afternoon.  The delegation, which includes Dr Luisa Dias Diogo, Prime Minister of Mozambique, Mr Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya, Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister of Kenya, and senior officials and business leaders from Botswana, Lesotho, Liberia, Rwanda and South Africa, is on a study visit to Singapore jointly organised by the S Rajaratnam School of International Studies and the Brenthurst Foundation of South Africa.  During the meeting, Prime Minister Diogo expressed amazement at Singapore's economic development.   In response to the delegation's queries, Senior Minister Goh shared with them Singapore's development experience and our economic policies.   Senior Minister Goh also exchanged views with the high-level delegation on recent developments in Zimbabwe.
