Ms Park Geun-hye, a National Assembly Member in the Republic of Korea (ROK) and former Chairperson of the ROK's ruling Grand National Party, called on Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong at the Istana this afternoon.  Ms Park is visiting Singapore under the Singapore International Foundation Distinguished Visitors Programme.  During the meeting, Senior Minister Goh and Ms Park exchanged views on a wide range of topics, including how countries such as Singapore and the ROK could remain competitive in a highly globalised world.  Senior Minister Goh last met Ms Park when he visited the ROK in February 2008.
